AGILITY Sorry, we are not accepting new members until April 2009 due to space limitations, and no classes are being offered except for one class for puppies (Sept/Oct) and one beginners (Nov/Dec) for current members. If you are interested in classes and you are not currently a member, you may contact us via inquiry@nfldathleticdog.com to get your name on the waitlist, but there are no guarantees you would be in the April session (it depends on the number of individuals ahead on the list for the entry classes: puppy and beginners). If you do not wish to wait, then you may want to consider contacting Companion Dog Trainers (Linda Pike) as they also instruct puppy and agility classes. Puppy Class The puppy classes will run Tuesdays 6:00-6:45pm September 9th to October 28th for current members’ puppies. Payment and registration is due August 31st to Deborah Glassman. Payments will not be accepted at the class to maximize class time. The instructor will be Ina Melbourne. Pre-Agility Class The pre-agility class will run Tuesdays 6:00-7:00pm November 4th to December 23rd for current members’ beginner dogs. Payment and registration is due in a sealed envelope with registration form included at the start of the first class. The head instructor will be Dianne Ford, but the class will be team taught with: Angie West, Aimée Surprenant, Ina Melbourne, and Brianna Newton. DROP-INS This Fall, we have drop-ins only for dogs who have graduated from Beginners, Intermediate or Advanced. Drop-ins commence Sunday, September 7th and run every week until the last week of December. There are two registration options. For graduates of Beginners, Intermediates or Advanced, there is the Sunday only drop-in (5:00-9:00pm) for $85.00. For Advanced dogs only, there is a second option: Sundays (5-9pm) and Tuesdays (7:00-8:00pm) for $100.00. The Advanced dogs get the additional hour as they are expected to play a mentorship role on Sundays as well. With only one hour available on Tuesday nights, all dogs present during that hour must be controlled and fully trained in agility to manage the orderly chaos in that hour. Payment for drop-ins must be given to Deborah Glassman prior to you attending a drop-in! There are also no prorated offers for late registrations or discounts for multiple dogs for drop-ins. To register, please complete this form and give it to Deborah. (PDF) WORKSHOPS This Fall, we are offering a series of 8 workshops for members only. You do not need to register for all workshops – you may pick and choose as you desire. For all workshops, there are limits placed on the number of participants. Participant spots will be given on a first pay, first serve basis; no spots will be pre-reserved. Payments for the workshops are due September 30th – again, participation will not be allowed without payment being received prior to the workshop. I recommend you do not wait until the deadline as spots are likely to fill up on some of these workshops. If you withdraw from the workshop for any reason aside from medical reasons, refunds will not be granted. To register, please complete this form and give it to Deborah. (PDF) Slideshows posted by members outside this website FLYBALL The next set of flyball classes will be offered on Tuesdays (8:00pm-9:00pm and 9:00-10:00pm) for 8 weeks starting first week in September for members only. If you are interested in registering, you must inform us by August 30th. Please complete the NADA Class Registration Form (PDF) and mail or deliver it to Deborah Glassman by August 30, 2008. Registrations and payments will not be accepted at the class to maintain control over the finances and records. See above for schedule details.
