For the love of our pets

The Rainbow Bridge page is a place for our members to post a memorial to their dogs and cats.

Our pets come into our lives and bring us such joy. They move our souls to dance. They awaken us to understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Our pets make the earth a more beautiful place to be. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave paw prints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.

As a pet owner, none of us like to think of the day, seemingly far in the future, when we must say good-bye to our pet. Though the thought may briefly skim through our minds from time to time, we seldom dwell on it. It is natural to feel we have a lifetime to enjoy our pets. Unfortunately, because their lives are far shorter than ours, we may lose them far too early, either through a tragic event, illness or old age.

Gone but not forgotten

The Rainbow Bridge represents the heart-felt belief that when our beloved canine or feline friends are taken from us, they go to a place where they can run and play without pain or suffering, where they become whole again and everyday is filled with love and friendship. To get to this wonderful place, they must first cross over the "Rainbow Bridge". It is here where they will be greeted and led across. Once across the bridge, the only thing that will complete their joy is when they are united with their loving human companions.
