Description: Jumps are the most frequently used obstacle on an agility course, and yet the skill of jumping is the least taught and understood of the agility skill sets. Just because your dog can jump does not necessarily mean they know how to jump!

This workshop will introduce teams to some of Susan Salo’s foundation gridwork exercises that when regularly practiced can help improve your dog’s comfort and performance when jumping. Grids that will be covered include the foundation plyometric ladder grid, bend grid, and adjustable stride grid.

Prerequisites: Dogs should have a reliable start line stay or be comfortable with someone holding them. Dogs must be capable of working in a group setting. One dog will be working on the floor at a time. When waiting their turn, dogs must be crated or kept in the car.
