Obedience Dedicated Drop In:

Mondays, 10:30am-12:00pm, for 8 weeks, starting June 3rd .

Directed Obedience Drop In: Handlers will work on competitive obedience skills at their own level while other handler/dog teams work nearby. This will usually mean there will be multiple areas set up for dogs to work on designated skills; each area will work on a different skill so that a handler/dog team may be working on a skill like position changes while another team is working in the next section on retrieve over the high jump. Handler/dog teams will move from one section to another, rotating until they've had a turn in each section. Sections will be divided by accordion fencing. This will be an excellent place to work on distraction training. There will also be opportunities for teams to work on activities that require the support of other people such as Sit or Stand for Examination or Figure 8s. There will be opportunities for dogs to work on group stays with other dogs present. There will be no instructor for this drop in. Choices about which exercises to focus on will be made by the group.
