B: Sundays, 8:00-9:00am, for 4 weeks, starting

Week 4 Sunday April 27th 8:00-9:00am, with Jennifer Clarke.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of Agility Level 2 is required. Dogs must also be at least 15 months of age to participate. Dogs must be comfortable and capable of working in a group setting, and they must have a reliable recall and not interrupt other dogs who are working with their handlers.

This 4-week course will cover the basic steps for teaching your dog to independently weave through four poles using the 2 x 2 method. Games that will build forward focus and drive will also be covered. The course will consist of 4 in-person classes, and a Facebook Course Group will be used for students to post their training videos in between classes for instructor feedback. In addition, the course will include facility drop-ins for the month of April for practicing the skills covered in class. It is strongly recommended that handlers bring a toy, preferably a food-dispensing toy (e.g. lotus ball), to each class for rewarding their dog from a distance. Dogs will be working off leash in this class, and multiple dogs will be working at one time. Barriers will be in place to separate working stations. Dogs who are not working must be crated or kept on leash.
